Dear
Colleague, you are invited to attend a FREE Bio-Rad one day training course for
science teachers and technicians at the ExploHeidelberg Teaching Lab on 15th
May 2005.
This course is a chance
to:

when teaching genetics and biotechnology

We will do this with:

Hands-on training in
classroom biotechnology practicals relevant to the latest exam curricula
including:

DNA Fingerprinting
– solve crime using genetics. Use professional electrophoresis equipment to
analyse DNA.

Genes in a Bottle
- extract YOUR DNA and take it away in a DNA necklace !
-
ELISA Immuno Explorer
–
simulate the spreading of disease, perform ELISA,
and learn how this assay is used to track a disease outbreak.

Exchange ideas and
experiences with colleagues over lunch and refreshments
All participants are entered to a raffle to win a biotechnology kit for FREE!
